EnQuest says it is on track for delivery of first oil from the Kraken development in Q2 2017 after the floating production storage & offloading vessel's arrival on the field.

The vessel arrived on 13 February, with the hook up of the submerged-turret-production buoy mooring system completed on 15 February. A full-rotation test was performed so that the vessel was now on station and securely moored.

"Commissioning work will continue on the topsides," the company said in a statement.

"Reconstruction of the turret area pipework and connection of the risers and umbilicals to the swivel stack is being undertaken followed by commissioning of the subsea infrastructure."

Delivery of first oil was on track for Q2 2017.

At 14:00 GMT, shares in EnQuest were trading at 48p each.
