CMA clears ZPG's acquisition of Expert Agent

The Competition and Markets Authority has cleared ZPG's acquisition of estate agency software company Expert Agent.

The FTSE 250 group, which owns Zoopla, PrimeLocation and Hometrack, said: "With this matter concluded we can now progress with our plans to integrate Expert Agent into the wider ZPG business and to deliver the related benefits for all our customers."

It pointed out that the property software sector in the UK is well-served by numerous players offering strong and effective competition.
