Elizabeth Lee stepping down as Close Brothers head of legal

Close Brothers Group announced on Friday that Elizabeth Lee, its group head of legal and regulatory affairs, would be retiring from her position as an executive director of the group at the end of the 2019 financial year.

The FTSE 250 company said Lee joined the group as general counsel in September 2009, and was appointed a director in August 2012.

It said it would now be conducting a formal search for a new group general counsel, who would be a member of the group executive committee.

“On behalf of the board I would like to thank Elizabeth for her very substantial contribution over the last several years and wish her all the best for the future,” said Close Brothers group chief executive Preben Prebensen.
