Churchill Mining appoints Hari Kiran Vadlamani as non-exec director

Churchill Mining has appointed Hari Kiran Vadlamani as a non-executive director with immediate effect.

Vadlamani is a non-executive director of Greenko Group, which is an AIM-listed owner and operator of clean energy projects in India. He was previously a co-founder of KSK Power Venture, also an AIM-listed company, with interests in multiple power plants and businesses across India.

Vadlamani has been appointed as a nominee of Cause First Ventures, which holds 17.6m shares or a 13.2% stake in Churchill.

Chairman David Quinlivan said: “We are delighted to welcome Kiran to the board. Kiran has been a long-term supportive shareholder and we welcome his international business experience.”

At 1323 BST, Churchill shares were down 4.8% at 26.65p.
