Capital & Counties in advanced talks over sale of Venues business

Capital & Counties confirmed on Friday that it is in advanced discussions to sell its exhibition business, Venues.

The business comprises Olympia London and certain related property assets and CapCo said it is looking for a price in line with the 31 December 2016 valuation.

"There is no certainty that the sale will proceed and further announcements will be made as appropriate," the company said in a statement.
