Bwin extends supply deal with Danish partner

Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment announced a multi-year extension to its existing B2B supply agreement with Danske Licens Spil, which is the online gaming subsidiary of Danske Spil.

The Danske Spil Group is 80% owned by the Danish government and is one of the largest betting and gaming organisations in Europe, with DKK4.5bn of gross gaming revenue last year.

Bwin’s chief executive Norbert Teufelberger said: “Having supplied poker and casino games for DLS since January 2012 when the licensed market first opened in Denmark, we are thrilled that our Studios business unit has extended its existing relationship until the end of 2019.

“Danske Spil is the clear market leader in Denmark and we are delighted to be their supplier of online poker and casino games."

At 1256 GMT, Bwin shares were down 0.1% at 110.20p.
