Aviation support and aftermarket service provider BBA Aviation has completed its acquisition of EPIC Aviation on terms it had previously announced, the company confirmed on Monday, having received the necessary governmental and regulatory approvals.

The FTSE 250 firm had detailed its acquisition plans on 23 May, describing EPIC as a provider of fuel and fuel-related services at 205 privately-owned independent FBO locations.

It said 185 of those locations were branded ‘EPIC’, and 20 were branded ‘UVAir’.

“EPIC's 205 FBO locations are complementary to our existing ‘Signature Select’ branded locations, establishing a virtual, non-owned, network to operate alongside our market-leading owned FBO network,” BBA’s board said in its statement on Monday.

“This creates a total network of over 400 FBO locations significantly extending Signature's network relevance and the range of services it can offer.”
