Aviva appoints Jason Windsor as CFO

Aviva has appointed interim chief financial officer Jason Windsor to the role on a permanent basis with immediate effect.

Windsor, who joined the company in 2010, became interim CFO in July, having previously been CFO of Aviva UK Insurance.

Chief executive Maurice Tulloch said Windsor was "exceptionally well qualified" to be CFO.

"He has a proven track record as CFO of our UK business and a deep understanding of Aviva and the markets we operate in. Jason is a very strong addition to the board and will bring a strong analytical and commercial perspective," he said.
