Airbnb rival onefinestay raises $40m from investors including Hyatt Hotels

Luxury accommodation website onefinestay has amassed $40m in its latest funding round, the company said in a statement.

The Airbnb rival said new contributors to the fund included Intel Capital, Quadrant Capital Advisors and Hyatt Hotels, while existing investors Index Venture and Canaan Partner also took part.

The latest round also included contributions from angel investors including & beyond chief executive Joss Kent, Yifei Investment Holdings chief executive Richard Chen and former Sequoia Capital partner Mark Dempster.

Onefinestay said the money would support technology developments and fuel the continued scaling up of operations.
