Power generator hire firm Aggreko said it will restructure into two units and announced a raft of management changes.

The company said it will divide into two core units, Aggreko Rental Solutions; and Aggreko Power Solutions. The changes will be effective from 1 August 2015, the firm said in a statement.

The changes mean regional director for Americas Asterios Satrazemis will become president of the rentals business in the US.

The power solutions business will be run by chief executive Chris Westin until a permanent replacement is found, the company said.

The changes mean Asia pacific regional director Debajit Das and regional director for EMEA David Taylor Smith will step down.

Aggreko said it would announce a set of core business priorities for its next growth phase on 6 August 2015.

Shares in Aggreko ended at 1,466p when the market closed on Friday.
