Aggreko gave a timeline to the appointment of its new chief financial officer on Tuesday, confirming that Heath Drewett would take up the role on 3 January.

The FTSE 250 company had issued an announcement on 13 November, confirming the departure of Carole Cran on 31 December and the subsequent appointment of Dewett to the role of finance chief.

At the time, the Aggreko board described Drewett as an “experienced finance professional”, working in the engineering, leisure, transportation and industrial sectors.

It said he was the group finance director at WS Atkins where, following the acquisition by SNC-Lavalin, he was most recently appointed president.

“On behalf of the board and the company, I am delighted to welcome Drewett to Aggreko,” CEO Chris Weston said at the time.

“Heath is an experienced CFO and proven leader and I look forward to working with him as we continue to position Aggreko for the future.

“In addition, I would like to thank Carole Cran for her substantial contribution to Aggreko and wish her all the best with her new opportunity.”
