Intermediate Capital Group set to purchase Doc Generici

Intermediate Capital Group may announce the purchase of Doc Generici from GVC Capital Partners as soon as today.
According to Bloomberg, which cited people familiar with the matter, Intermediate Capital was set to pay roughly €1.1bn (£940m) for the Italian generic drugs maker.
Talks to buy the company, whose portfolio includes drugs for cardiovascular and metabolic ailments, were in the final stages.
GVC purchased the firm from buy-out shop Charterhouse Capital Partners in 2016.
Shares of Intermediate Capital Group ended Thursday's session down by 1.68% to 1,113p.
