Leaders from the world's seven most industrialised nations committed to working together to tackle the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

The US, Japan, Germany, UK, France, Canada and Italy said that they would deploy all fiscal and momnetary policy tools, together with targeted actions, to help the most negatively affected workers, firms and sectors.

They also pledged to collaborate on finding a vaccine for the virus.

"In facing the economic challenge, we are determined not only to restore the level of growth anticipated before the COVID-19 pandemic but also to build the foundation for stronger future growth."
