Director dealings: Ramsden chief executive lowers stake

Peter Kenyon, chief executive of financial services provider Ramsdens, disposed of 500,000 ordinary shares in the AIM-listed firm on Tuesday, lowering his stake to just less than 1.1m shares.

Kenyon, who joined Ramsdens in 1991, offloaded his shares at an average price of 180p for a total value of £899,999.98.

Earlier in June, Ramsdens announced that its underlying EBITDA grew 31% to £7.9m in its last trading year, pushing its pre-tax profits up an impressive 60% to £6.5m in what the firm called a "year of growth".

As of 1600 BST, Ramsdens shares had tumbled 5.71% to 176.80p.
