Director dealings: Wizz Air CFO ups stake

Wizz Air revealed on Friday that chief financial officer Iain Wetherall had acquired 6,250 ordinary shares in the London-listed airline.

Wetherall, who took over as CFO back in August 2017, purchased the shares on Wednesday at an average price of 4,110p each, for a total value of £256,874.99.

The low-cost airline lifted its full-year net profit guidance on Wednesday as it reported a record profit for the third quarter.

Wizz said it now expects net profit of between €350m and €355m in 2020, up from previous guidance of between €335m and €350m.

As of 1630 GMT, Wizz shares were up 0.15% at 4,197.40p.
