Director dealings: Riverstone Energy director buys in even after strong run

Patrick Firth, Riverstone Energy's Senior non-executive Independent Director, bought 4,000 shares in the closed-ended investment company at an individual price of 1,3430p, for a total consideration of £53,720.

The purchase was carried out on 9 January, the company said in a statement, following a very strong run in the stock's price over the preceeding 12 months.

LSE-listed Riverstone was especially focused on the exploration and production and midstream sectors.

Shares in Riverstone Energy finished the session at a 52-week high of 1,355p.
