Director dealings: Old Mutual chief executive picks up almost 50,000 shares

Jonathan Hemphill, chief executive of UK-based holding company Old Mutual purchased 48,300 ordinary shares in the firm on Thursday at ZAR 36.68 each.

The total purchase value of the shares came to ZAR 98,834.41.

For the year ended 31 December 2016, Old Mutual, with its operations in the UK, the US and South Africa, reported an adjusted operating profit before tax of £1.7 billion and had £395 billion of funds under management.

As of 1600 GMT, shares had gained just 0.165 to 191.50p.
