Director dealings: Micro Focus chairman, CFO and partners invest in company

Micro Focus chairman Greg Lock has increased his shareholding in the company, it said in a regulatory notice on Monday, by 300,000 shares.

The FTSE 250 company said Lock bought the shares on 17 December at 348.1p each, making for a total transaction value of £1.04m.

It said that after the purchase, Lock owned 541,000 shares in Micro Focus, with his wife holding 294,000 shares.

Additionally, the company said its chief financial officer Matthew Ashley and his wife Charlotte Ashley had purchased 21,640 shares each at a price of 346.58p apiece.

The transactions, also on 17 December, both had respective total values of £74,999.91, with Micro Focus confirming that both Ashley and his wife now owned 21,640 shares each.

At 1522 GMT on Monday, shares in Micro Focus International were up 1.33% at 366.1p.
