Director dealings: Kingswood chairman's wife acquires shares for trust

Kingswood Holdings revealed on Monday that Farmilon Investment, of which chairman Buzz West's wife Lena was a beneficiary, had purchased 1.35m ordinary shares in the wealth planning and investment management company.

Farmilon acquired the shares on Thursday at an average price of 7p each, for a total value of £94,659.81.

Following the purchase, the total direct and indirect beneficial interest of Buzz West was 4.54m ordinary shares - representing 2.82% of Kingswood's issued share capital.

Last Tuesday, Kingswood updated investors on its acquisition pipeline as it continues to explore opportunities to source additional funding to support its execution.

With an acquisition pipeline in excess of £100m, Kingswood confirmed that it had agreed on non-binding heads of terms with a provider of substantial permanent growth capital with regards to a potential equity investment in the form of convertible preference shares.

As of 1620 BST, Kingswood shares had crept forward 0.68% to 7.25p.
