Director dealings: Intermediate Capital director ups stake

Kathryn Purves, a non-executive director of Intermediate Capital Group acquired 8,500 ordinary shares in the specialist asset manager on Monday.

Purves, who joined ICP in 2014, purchased the shares at an average cost of 1,011p, for a total value of £85,935.

As a result of the transaction, Purves and her connected persons hold a total of 10,737 shares, 0.004% of ICP's ordinary share capital.

Intermediate Capital Group reported a strong first quarter back in July, with success driven by increases in the firm's assets under management.

The company increased its AUM to €32.9bn over the quarter ended 30 June, up 15% on 31 March, and reported that deployment remains strong across strategies.

Benoit Durteste, chief executive, said: "As anticipated, the new financial year has started strongly with AUM breaking €30bn driven by fundraising for Europe Fund VII which is currently 48% larger than its predecessor fund. The size of the fund demonstrates our ability to scale our proven strategies."

As of 1650 BST, ICP shares had picked up 1.58% to 1,027p.
