Director dealings: Intermediate Capital chairman raises stake

Intermediate Capital Group revealed on Tuesday that chairman Kevin Parry had purchased 7,720 ordinary shares in the FTSE 250-listed financial services firm.

Parry, who joined ICP as a non-executive director back in 2009, acquired the shares last Thursday at an average price of 1,293p each, for a total value of £99,820.

As a result of the transaction, Parry and his connected persons hold a total of 47,812 ordinary ICP shares, representing 0.01% of the company's issued share capital, the company said in a statement.

Intermediate Capital shares climbed last Wednesday as it reported a jump in assets under management and a 50% increase in its dividend payout, though annual profits dipped due to a change in loan note valuation.

As of 1620 BST, ICP shares had picked up 2.92% to 1,308p.
