Director dealings: Zoo Digital’s new chair takes up stake
Zoo Digital revealed on Thursday that chairman Gillian Wilmot had snapped up 30,000 shares in the AIM-listed software and services firm.
Wilmot, who took over as chair on 1 July, purchased the shares on Wednesday at an average price of 74p each, for a total value of £22,2000.
Following the transaction, Wilmot's total beneficial holding, including 1,517 ordinary shares held by her husband, was 31,517 ordinary Shares, representing 0.04% of the company's issued share capital.
When welcoming Wilmot to the group back in June, Zoo Digital said Wilmot, who would also chair its remuneration committee and act as a member of its audit committee, replacing Roger Jeynes, who stepped down from the board on 1 July after serving a nine-year tenure.
It explained that, along with "extensive" board-level leadership roles in both private and public company environments, Wilmot would bring a "wealth of relevant industry experience" across the business-to-business, technology, advertising and communication sectors.
As of 1630 BST, Zoo Digital shares had slumped 4.40% to 76p.
