Barclays trustee of EBT buys 300,000 shares in Laird following strong annual results

Barclays Trust Company, a trustee of the Laird group Employee Benefit Trust (EBT), purchased 300,000 ordinary shares of 28.125p each on Tuesday, at an average price of £3.53 per share.

Following the transaction, the EBT held 1,054,916 shares, representing approximately 0.39% of the company's issued share capital.

The news comes after Laird’s 2014 revealed impressive full-year results, with growth across revenue, profit, earnings and dividends.

"Our consistent and disciplined strategy of investing for growth and driving cultural change is transforming our business, with good revenue growth and stable profit margins," said chief executive David Lockwood.
