1Spatial director sells £0.5m in shares to satisfy institutional demand

Mike Sanderson, the director of strategic development of software firm 1Spatial, has raised over half a million pounds by selling shares, the company announced on Monday.

Sanderson offloaded 7.67m shares at 7p each in 1Spatial in a transaction that took place on Friday. The company said that the reason behind the £536,603 deal was "to satisfy institutional demand".

Following the transaction, Sanderson still owns 30m shares in 1Spatial, equal to a 4.6% stake.

The stock had lost a third of its value year-to-date prior to the deal.
