No major economic releases are due to published in the euro area or in the US.

For Royal Mail Group's second quarter update, UBS analyst Cristian Nedelcu has penciled in a 10% delcine in UK parcel volumes over May and June on the back of the reopening of the economy.

He is also anticipating a drop in international parcel volumes.

Parcel mix on the other hand is expected to be positive and tracked "should" outgrow untracked ones, the analyst added.

At GLS meanwhile, year-on-year volume growth was pegged at 5%.

Across the Pond, after the close of markets in New York, video-streaming giant Netflix will update investors on the company's second quarter financial performance.
