Friday preview: UK GDP and Chinese inflation reports in focus

Economic data will be the main focus of financial markets at the end of the week, even as investors in Asia and Europe digest the latest US central bank policy announcement.

Against that backdrop, overnight China's National Bureau of Statistics is scheduled to release readings on consumer and factory gate prices referencing the month of October.

That will be followed by a raft of data releases in the UK, including a preliminary reading on third quarter gross domestic product in the UK.

Also due out at 0930 GMT are reports on total trade and industrial production for September.

In the euro area meanwhile, at 1000 GMT, European Central Bank Governing Council member, Benoit Coeure, will participate in a roundtable discussion on euro area risk-free rates in Frankfurt, Germany.

Later in the day, in the States, the spotlight will shift to producer price data for October at 1330 GMT, followed by a preliminary reading on the University of Michigan's consumer confidence index corresponding to the month of November.
