Zinc Media nominates Mark Browning as CEO

Cross-platform media agency Zinc Media Group appointed former ITN Productions managing director Mark Browning to the role of chief executive on Tuesday.

Browning took on the role at the AIM-listed outfit, effective immediately, bringing with him years of leadership, experience and a clear track record of managing significant growth in the TV production and media sectors.

Elsewhere, Zinc also nominated David Galan as a non-executive director, effective immediately.

When discussing his appointment, Browning said: "I am excited to finally be starting at Zinc. It is highly regarded in the television sector for making some of the most high-end content in the market and is well placed given its impressive footprint in the nations and regions.

"There is plenty of growth potential in the TV businesses, both domestically and internationally, and through Zinc Media's digital arm, Zinc Communicate".

As of 0815 BST, Zinc shares had slipped 1.67% to 0.30p.
