Vast Resources to complete first Baita Plai concentrate sale

Vast Resources said on Monday that the first commercial sale of concentrate produced at its Baita Plai Polymetallic Mine in Romania is expected to conclude on 25 November.

The AIM-traded firm said it received confirmation over the weekend from its offtake partner Mercuria that the sale would conclude on this date, following a delay from the previously-anticipated schedule.

“[This was] due to availability of the nominated independent technical inspectors who are required to be present on site on behalf of the buyer in order to release the shipment,” the board explained in its short statement.

At 1154 GMT, shares in Vast Resources were up 1.03% at 0.18p.
