Healthcare services provider Totally announced a number of contract extensions, including 12-month extensions for services provided at Urgent Treatment Centres in Greater London, along with funding to pilot additional clinical services in the North East of England on Monday

The AIM-traded firm said the extensions and pilot were worth a total of £7.5m, and were awarded to its wholly-owned subsidiaries Vocare and Greenbrook Healthcare, which together form Totally's urgent care division.

“The retention of Vocare and Greenbrook as the preferred providers of these urgent care services demonstrates the continued confidence in our service delivery across the UK,” said chief executive officer Wendy Lawrence.

“Totally is proud to be standing shoulder to shoulder with the NHS, helping it to manage fluctuating demands for patient-facing services.

“The company looks forward to updating the market on its first quarter activity as part of a trading update planned for release in September.”

At 0843 BST, shares in Totally were up 10.56% at 19.9p.
