Designer, manufacturer and supplier of advanced testing systems and measurement products, AB Dynamics, announced on Monday that on 17 October Tim Rogers - currently managing director of the company - was appointed chief executive officer.

The AIM-traded firm said Tony Best, currently executive chairman, will become non-executive chairman.

It said Best wanted to take less active part in the company, coupled with the fact that over the past 24 months Rogers had been progressively moving into the CEO role.

Best will continue to provide expertise and support to the company's development team.

“With the company in good shape, in which so much has been achieved in the past 30 years, most notably in the last four years since the company listed on AIM and under a very capable management led by Tim, I have steadily been able to take a less active role in the company,” Best said.

“I will continue to provide support and assistance to the business, albeit on a reduced level.”
