Technology-enabled lifestyle and travel platform Ten Lifestyle Group has expanded into Scandinavia, it announced on Tuesday, with a new office opening and a new contract win.

The AIM-traded firm said it opened a new office in Oslo, Norway, on 15 April, which was its first office in Scandinavia.

It said it marked a “key step” towards achieving its expansion plans in this region, where it was in discussions with a number of potential clients.

Ten also said it had signed a contract with DNB Bank - the largest financial services group in Norway - which would see Ten taking over the provision of concierge services to selected family office customers from the incumbent supplier in June.

That initial launch was expected to be a small contract, the company explained, adding that as its relationship with DNB further developed, it could grow into a medium contract in the 2020 financial year.

“We are delighted to be expanding into Scandinavia, a new and promising geographic territory for us,” said Ten Lifestyle Group chief executive officer Alex Cheatle.

“The Oslo office will enable us to provide specialist lifestyle and concierge services in Norwegian and Swedish, as well as English, to HNW customers in this very affluent region.”

Cheatle said he was “confident” that DNB would prove to be a flagship client for Ten in the region, with the board said to be “excited” to begin the partnership.

“This expansion represents a further step towards our goal of achieving a global presence in regions with high levels of wealthy and affluent potential members.”
