Casual dining operator Tasty confirmed on Tuesday that it would cease offering all takeaway and delivery services across all of its restaurants.

The AIM-traded firm, which operates the Wildwood and dim t brands, said the decision had been made in light of the further measures announced by the government in relation to the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic.

It said it had taken the decision primarily with the welfare of its employees, customers and the wider community in mind.

“Even with these full closures, with the cash preservation measures previously announced, the directors continue to believe that the company has sufficient financial resources for the foreseeable future,” the board said in its statement.

“The company will make further announcements, as appropriate.”

At 0953 GMT, shares in Tasty were up 18.8% at 1.48p.
