Institutional stockbroking company Arden Partners confirmed on Friday that it has received FCA approval for the appointment of Steve Douglas to its board as group finance director.

The AIM-traded firm confirmed Douglas's appointment with immediate effect as a result

It had announced his appointment on 1 November.

“Steve joined the corporate finance team at Arden in 2004 and became head of corporate finance in 2014,” the board said in its statement at the time.

“Steve has been part of the senior management team which has led the significant investments made across every department as the company has been restructured over the last 18 months.”

It said Douglas was a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, having qualified with Deloitte & Touche in 1998, and was a Chartered member of the Securities Institute.
