SimiGon expands long-term relationship with European customer

Simulation solutions developer SimiGon further expanded a long-term relationship with an unnamed major European customer on Monday.

SimiGon's contract award will see the group provide its commercial off the shelf training and simulation environment, SIMbox, to the unnamed customer to use the technology as the baseline for a new aircraft platform joining its academic training centres.

The AIM-listed group pointed out that this was the fourth aircraft platform that the customer had selected SIMbox for its ground-based training systems solution.

Expected revenue from the contract was already factored into SimiGon's full-year expectations.

Chief executive Ami Vizer said: "This is another great win for SimiGon and illustrates our continued relationship with the customer. This is another excellent sign from the market that our advanced technologies accelerate training and save time and money for our partners."

As of 0950 BST, SimiGon shares had picked up 1.35% to 7.50p.
