Science in Sport names James Simpson as new CFO

Performance nutrition group Science in Sport appointed James Simpson to the role of chief financial officer on Wednesday, effective 26 September.

Simpson will join Science in Sport's board from e-retailer Asos, where he was the group's operational finance director. Prior to joining Asos, Simpson held senior financial roles at both Britvic and Tesco.

Elizabeth Lake, the AIM-listed company's former CFO, left the firm on Tuesday.

As of 0905 BST, Science in Sport shares had ticked up 0.62% to 52.82p.
