Safestyle to transition to new PVC supplier

PVC window and door specialist Safestyle UK announced on Friday that, following an “extensive” selection process and “careful” board deliberations, it had served notice to its existing PVCu profile supplier.

The AIM-traded firm said it would now be executing its transition plan to a new supplier Liniar, a subsidiary of Quanex Building Products.

It said it expected the change to proceed “smoothly” in the coming months.

“Following a rigorous selection process over the last 18 months, I am delighted with our choice of Liniar as our new long-term growth partner,” said chief executive officer Mike Gallacher.

At 1223 BST, shares in Safestyle UK were down 2.02% at 29.64p.
