Pressure Technologies said on Friday that the Health & Safety Executive plans to prosecute its subsidiary, Chesterfield Special Cylinders (CSC), in relation to a fatal accident that took place there in June 2015.

The HSE has set a preliminary court hearing for 6 March.

The AIM-listed specialist engineering group said: "It is not possible to determine what the outcome of this court hearing will be and, given the nature of the sentencing guidelines, nor is it possible to determine with any certainty what, if any, financial penalties might be levied on CSC."

Pressure Technologies said it continues to take legal advice on the matter and will provide further updates.

At 1300 GMT, the shares were down 6.4% to 88p.
