Multichannel marketing hub software specialist Pelatro has been selected by Norway’s Telenor Group to supply its loyalty management solution to the company on a global level.

The move deepens the engagement between the two companies as Pelatro has already been supplying three companies within the Telenor Group with its contextual marketing platform under a global framework agreement signed in July.

The loyalty management solution, which is intended to help telecommunications firms to significantly expand and deepen their relationship with their customers, has been in operation at Philippine telecom giant Globe for the past five years.

Subash Menon, managing director and chief executive of Pelatro, said: "Telcos have started realising the inherent benefit in working with a partner who can provide a holistic solution for the twin problems of ARPU reduction and increasing churn. mViva Contextual Marketing Solution and mViva Loyalty Management Solution jointly meet this specific need."

Pelatro has expanded its offering to four products following its acquisition of Danateq, thus allowing it to sell multiple products to the same partner and enjoy a more high-level relationship.

At 1603 BST, Pelatro’s shares were 2.56% up at 80.00p.
