Multichannel marketing outfit Pelatro has inked a five-year revenue share deal with Kazakhstan-based telecommunications firm Tele2.

Pelatro will install its new mViva Data Monetization Platform product, which utilises Pelatro's existing mViva platform to collect data on Telco subscribers on a real-time basis in order to facilitate mobile advertising, across Tele2's network, contributing roughly $500,000 in revenues during the first full year of operation.

Chief executive Subash Menon said: "This contract win with Tele2 is a very important step for Pelatro. Our ability to cross-sell our mViva Data Monetization Platform into our existing customer base will enable us to further cement existing customer relationships and deepen the penetration within them.

"We are confident of building a large ecosystem of B2C companies with our Telco customers at the centre, on the basis of the large customer base that we can present to these B2C companies to target intelligently and efficiently."

As of 1100 GMT, Pelatro shares had climbed 6.13% to 90.74p.
