Event-driven marketing technology provider Mporium Group announced a “significant” commercial agreement for its technology-led digital agency Fast Web Media on Tuesday.

The AIM-traded firm said the seven-figure contract with a fully-owned subsidiary of an unnamed FTSE 100 company represented the “largest contract ever awarded” to FWM in its 20-year history.

It said the agreement involved the provision of technology and agency services over a 12-month period, across four key international markets.

“I am delighted to announce this landmark agreement, which represents the largest contract in FWM's history,” said Mporium CEO Nelius De Groot.

“Signing an international contract of this scale with a fully-owned subsidiary of a FTSE 100 company is a testimony to the professionalism and capabilities of the FWM organisation.”

De Groot said the relaunch of FWM in the first quarter of 2017 with a new, technology-led focus, had “significantly enhanced” the agency's offering.

“FWM has a proud heritage of innovation and, incorporating Mporium's technology, will generate additional revenue and client opportunities.

“This contract marks a very important milestone in the evolution of FWM, demonstrating that our strategy of relaunching FWM as a technology-led agency is paying significant dividends.”
