LightwaveRF takes a bite out of the Apple Home market

LightwaveRF, producers of smart home devices announced a new range of products compatible with Apple HomeKit Monday morning.

The items are slated to be available through Apple's online and retail stores in the UK and the UAE on 3 October and include smart sockets, dimmers and radiator valves that will be controllable through Apple Home, as well as via Lightwave RF apps, Alexa or Google Assistant.

Chief executive Andrew Pearson said, "The exposure and awareness from this partnership should enhance our market visibility and greatly benefit our customers via easier management of their smart home solutions."

As of 1500 BST, shares had jumped up 21.28% on the day to 28.50p.
