Genedrive COO Allan Brown to leave

AIM-listed Genedrive has announced the departure of chief operating officer, Allan Brown, with immediate effect.

The near patient molecular diagnostics company said Brown will leave the group as part of a planned change to management team structure. He will continue to be employed by Genedrive until the end of January to ensure an orderly handover.

Non-executive Chairman Ian Gilham said: "Allan joined the company in 2014 and has played a key role in the development of the Genedrive instrument and tests. On behalf of the board I'd like to thank Allan for his contributions and wish him the very best in his future plans."

At 1415 GMT, the shares were up 2.4% to 36.87p.
