Gama Aviation extends maintenance agreement with Wijet

Gama Aviation has announced an indefinite extension to its maintenance support agreement with Wijet.

The AIM-listed business aviation services company will provide base, line and AOG maintenance support to Wijet's fleet of 15 aircraft across the continent.

Wijet are a leading supplier of jet taxi services in Europe.

Marwan Khalek, chief executive officer at Gama, said, "Over the last six months we have worked hard with the Wijet team to ensure we meet their exacting standards," before noting that the he felt the extension demonstrated the company had, "met, if not exceeded the expectations of Wijet."

As of BST 1005 Gama Aviation shares had creeped up 1.41% to 251.50p
