Ergomed names Lewis Cameron as next COO

Pharmaceutical industry services provider Ergomed named Lewis Cameron as its next chief operating officer on Monday.

Cameron, an experienced senior executive in the global pharmaceutical services sector, will take over as COO and join the group's board on 20 January 2020.

Ergomed's new COO will join the AIM-listed firm from US group LabCorp - where he has acted as the company's head of global clinical development at its Covance subsidiary since 2017.

Chairman Dr Miroslav Reljanović said: "We are delighted to further strengthen our management team with Lewis's appointment.

"He will take on operational responsibility across our whole business and I have no doubt we will benefit from his considerable operational expertise, M&A experience and proven track record of growth across the pharmaceutical services sector as we deliver on our strategy."

As of 1330 GMT, Ergomed shares were down 0.04% at 377.85p.
