EKF Diagnostics secures new orders for Covid-19 sample collection devices

Point-of-care business EKF Diagnostics has received orders for its Covid-19 sample collection devices from two new customers.

EKF said on Thursday that Ireland's Health Service Executive and an unnamed "national health body in England" had placed initial orders for its PrimeStore MTM product.

The AIM-listed group will fulfil the orders from its production facilities in Penarth, South Wales and Barleben, Germany.

EKF highlighted that the orders would contribute to its expected strong fourth-quarter performance.

As of 0940 BST, EKF shares were up 5.65% at 65.50p.
