Real-time marketing software-as-a-service provider Eagle Eye Solutions Group has signed a new five-year contract for its AIR platform with an unnamed top 20 US supermarket, it announced on Friday, marking its first US customer.

The AIM-traded firm said the customer would connect to the AIR platform hosted in Google Cloud, with Eagle Eye leveraging the investment and experience already made in its Canadian operation, as well as establishing a new US client service presence.

It said its services would enable the customer to deliver data-driven, personalised offers and messages to digitally-connected consumers in real time, including offers for consumer packaged goods.

“We are delighted to welcome our first US customer onto the AIR platform,” said chief executive officer Tim Mason.

“North America is a mature market for paper couponing and promotions and we believe that it will ultimately be one of the largest digital promotions markets in the world.

“We are excited by the size of the opportunity facing us and look forward to further success.”

At 1511 GMT, shares in Eagle Eye Solutions Group were up 11.11% at 205p.
