SaaS technology company Eagle Eye has signed a new five-year contract with Waitrose & Partners.

The AIM-listed group said on Monday that the supermarket chain will be taking advantage of its AIR platform to improve its digital marketing proposition.

Eagle Eye AIR enables the secure issuance and redemption of digital offers and rewards at scale, across multiple channels, enabling a single customer view. The platform creates a network between merchants, distributors and brands to enable stronger connections and value for all parties, allowing them to reduce cost, improve their customer offer and accelerate their marketing innovation.

This contract signing extends the company's existing relationship with John Lewis.

Chief executive Tim Mason said: "We are delighted to have won this contract with Waitrose & Partners following on from the work we have done with myJL for John Lewis and look forward to deploying our Eagle Eye AIR platform across their network of stores to drive value through personalised promotions and rewards."

Eagle Eye also said it was continuing to trade in line with the board's expectations.

At 1440 GMT, the shares were up 3.4% to 100p.
