DP Poland sales grow after launching campaign with Master Chef winner

Pizza delivery outfit DP Poland told investors on Friday that it was trading in line with management's expectations for the year after the first quarter, as its new marketing campaign with Master Chef winner Damian Kordas drove sales throughout the period.

DP Poland, the master franchise holder for Domino's Pizza in the Eastern European nation, opened three new stores in the quarter ended 31 March, bringing its total number of stores to 66, spread across 30 towns and cities.

The AIM-listed outfit also revealed it had signed four further leases for new sites.

Outgoing chief executive Peter Shaw said: "Our marketing campaign featuring Damian Kordas launched in the second half of January and has been effective at driving sales, as has our trial partnership with food delivery aggregator Pyszne. All 66 of our stores are now on the Pyszne system."

at 1240 BST, the shares were up 8.8% to 9.25p.
