D4T4 remains confident of delivering on full-year expectations as first-half revenue is anticipated to have almost tripled as trading returned to a “more normal” cycle, the company said on Monday.

The data management outfit's first half revenue was reported as having increased from £4.8m to £14m following “unusual” phasing over the comparative period last year, with international sales driving revenue following investment in North American technical support.

International sales represented 89% of total sales over the first-half period, up from 60% over the period last year, as adjusted profit is forecast to be comfortably in line with expectations.

Peter Kear, chief executive of D4t4, said: "Our global partnerships continue to increase our addressable market whilst we have also made good progress with many of our strategic initiatives and our international offering continues to go from strength to strength."

The AIM traded company reported progression in its strategic partnerships with Teradata, Pegasystems and SAS as an “acceleration into the customer data platform space” and the company’s existing cloud data platform helped to deliver strong growth.

"Overall, our business is in a good position and together with a strong pipeline of opportunities makes this an exciting time for the business. Combine these with the people, skill set, and the flexibility to keep moving forward, we remain confident of delivering on management expectations for the financial year," said Kear.

D4T4’s shares were up 6.68% at 307.50p at 0923 BST.
