Healthcare software firm Craneware has seen a return to "strong sales" in the three months ended 30 September, ahead of prior year figures and in line with expectations.

Craneware said on Monday that it had seen "substantial new opportunities" entering its sales pipeline and while noting it was cognisant of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the group said it was confident in "the continued resilient performance" of the business.

The AIM-listed group also stated that as a result go Covid-19 restrictions, its annual general meeting would be operated behind closed doors, with only the minimum required quorum of two shareholders being present in person.

"Whilst this year's AGM will be solely functional, the board would like to assure shareholders that the arrangements adopted this year are temporary in light of the Covid-19 pandemic," said Craneware.

As of 1330 BST, Craneware shares were up 3.67% at 1,555.0p.
